The Department of Cell & Developmental Biology (CDB) at the University of Michigan Medical School (Ann Arbor) seeks a highly motivated individual to work as a Research Laboratory Technician Associate. The successful candidate will be expected to make basic lab solutions and reagents. In addition, the candidate will order all lab supplies and maintain sufficient supplies to ensure that all experiments conducted in the lab are efficiently executed.

Responsiblities include, but are not limited to:

HS Diploma or Assoc Degree and 0-1 years of prior lab experience is required. A Bachelor’s Degree in a Basic Science or related field is preferred. The successful candidate should also have a very strong work ethic, and possess an energetic attitude. He/she is expected to work cooperatively with others in the lab to gain more experience.

Michigan Medicine conducts background screening and pre-employment drug testing on job candidates upon acceptance of a contingent job offer and may use a third party administrator to conduct background screenings.
