Provide data management support to faculty members/research team in conduct of the clinical research projects under the direction of the team supervisor. Accurately and precisely document and abstract data on patients from various sources to comply with requirements of sponsor and protocol. Work closely with staff and bio-statistical core to ensure compliance and assist in the analysis of the data. Enters required data into Clinical Trial Management System (CTMS) and EMR in a timely fashion to meet department needs. Screen and registers eligible patients to clinical trials in CTMS with Sponsor only after confirmation of eligibility. Successfully interact with sponsor and their representatives. Report SAE and AE's. Ensure compliance with GCP, FDA, ICH and IRB regulations and guidance policies. Prepare data safety and monitoring reports.
Bachelor's degree in Science or a Health Science related field. Candidate must possess IT proficiency, database experience, familiarity with medical terminology, excellent written and oral communication skills and self-motivation. Candidate must demonstrate the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast paced team environment but must also be able to work independently under limited supervision. The candidate must possess interpersonal skills with exceptional attention to detail, and the willingness to learn new skills and contribute in a team setting. Exceptional organizational skills required. Previous research/data management experience preferred.
