Who We Are
The University of Michigan-Dearborn (UM-Dearborn) is one of three campuses of the University of Michigan. UM-Dearborn is a comprehensive university offering high quality undergraduate, graduate, professional and continuing education to residents of southeastern Michigan, and currently enrolls more than 8,700 students. The College of Business is AACSB accredited and offers a BBA degree with nine concentrations, an MBA degree that can be completed both in-class and online, as well as MS degrees in Accounting, Finance, Business Analytics, Supply Chain Management, Marketing, and Information Systems. The College has recently revised the curricula for most of these degree programs and is witnessing significant growth in enrollment, especially at the graduate level. The campus is strategically located on 200 suburban acres of the original Henry Ford Estate in the Greater Detroit Metropolitan region. Dearborn is located midway between Detroit and Ann Arbor and allows for a short commute from Ann Arbor, Detroit, the Detroit suburbs, and several smaller towns with a more rural environment. The College of Business at the University of Michigan-Dearborn is seeking applications for a full-time lecturer in Operations Management/Supply Chain Management, starting September 2021. The position will be responsible for teaching students enrolled in operation management/supply chain courses. The ability to teach at the graduate level is preferred but not required.
Successful candidates must have a graduate degree in Operations Management or Supply Chain Management. Other professional qualifications, previous experience teaching operations management/supply chain management at the university level, recent relevant work experience, and/or a history of scholarly research and publications, are highly preferred. Preference will be given to those individuals who are APICS certified. Support for professional development is available.
