Part-time temporary position with job duties including preventing and responding to emergencies, enforcing all facility policies, rules and regulations, as well as participating in scheduled in-service training sessions. Applicants should provide hours of availability in an attached resume. Work hours include daytime, evenings and weekends. Position has a tentative start date of August 14, 2021 but subject to change depending upon current restrictions and guidelines.

Required Qualifications*

  • Available to report for staff training in mid-August and work on-campus 8 hours per week beginning with fall semester
  • Current American Red Cross Lifeguard certification

Desired Qualifications*

  • UM-Flint student with work study award for the current or upcoming academic year
  • Previous lifeguard/aquatic supervision experience
