To assist the Field Coordinator in support of student learning, and field instructors within the organization’s students are placed. The Field Liaison will work with their assigned group of students (ranging from 8-12 in number) to determine meeting days and times, as well as formatting. Duties include the following:
Meet with students monthly.
The Liaison during the meetings will review and discuss things happening directly in the field placement and implications for field practice.
Will introduce students to diverse ways of work, opportunities, and critical conversations.
Will be the first line of communication if there is a concern from either the student or Field Instructor.
Will assist in completing site visits as needed.
Will work with students on development and understanding of the Learning Contract.
Will attend the field orientation and be a part of the Field Advisory Board.
Some assistance in identifying and development of new placements.
Attend Field meetings as needed throughout the semester, but at least 1 per semester.
Other duties/ activities as assigned needed in support of the students and social work program.
This is a 2021-2022 Academic Year Contract Position with no benefits. (August 16, 2021 – April 30, 2022)
25 hours per semester, 50 hours per academic year. $30 per hour. $750 per semester, $1,500 per academic year.
MSW from a CSWE accredited program and University.
2 years post graduate experience. Fully Licensed MSW.
