Job Summary

The Department of Microbiology and Immunology at the University of Michigan (UM) invites applications for a highly motivated Postdoctoral Fellow to join the research team of Cheong-Hee Chang, PhD. The Chang lab utilizes a combination of molecular, cellular immunology, mouse genetics, and animal models to study T cell-mediated immunity. This Postdoctoral Associate position funded by the NIH R01 grant is immediately available to study the regulation of metabolism and iron homeostasis in both CD4 and NKT cells. The successful candidate will also have career development opportunities, including promotion to research track faculty/professor at UM. Salary is commensurate with experience according to NIH standards.

Required Qualifications*

Candidates should possess a Ph.D. and/or M.D. and have a strong background in immunology or infectious disease research. Experience with flow cytometry and cell metabolism are desirable. Excellent communication and writing skills are essential.

Background Screening
