Job Summary

The Office of University Development is seeking a temporary Office Assistant for a variety of administrative duties in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Skills You Have

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Products (including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and Gmail, Google Docs). 

  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills with excellent attention to detail.

  • Ability to set priorities, handle multiple assignments and deadlines while operating in a flexible and professional manner.

  • Strong written and oral communication skills; the ability to write clearly and concisely for various mediums.

  • A high degree of creativity, initiative, and resourcefulness is preferred.

  • Ability to maintain highly confidential information and use excellent judgment on a variety of sensitive subjects.

  • Familiarity with University of Michigan guidelines and policies preferred.

Required Qualifications*

  • An Associate’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience is necessary.

  • Minimum 2-3 years demonstrated office experience required.

  • Team approach is required.

  • Strong time management, attention to detail, organization, and project management skills are required.
