Our search committees are multidisciplinary in nature. We have a pediatric ophthalmology and adult strabismus position open. We welcome ABO board eligible or board certified applicants that have completed subspecialty fellowship training in pediatric ophthalmology to join our team for an outstanding clinical and academic career in pediatric ophthalmology and strabismus. We welcome candidates with proven research expertise and experience in administration and faculty leadership. We are seeking to expand our busy pediatric ophthalmology service with patient care based in Ann Arbor and our surrounding community office locations. The positions can be either on the clinical or instructional track and are full-time. M.D., hold or have the ability to obtain the appropriate medical licenses in the state of Michigan, and be Board-eligible or Board-certified in Ophthalmology. Evidence of clinical competency and competency in clinical and didactic teaching is also expected. Completed subspecialty fellowship training is highly desirable.
This position is posted as Clinical Assistant Professor/Clinical Associate Professor/Clinical Professor. The rank of the selected candidate will depend upon candidate's qualifications.
Michigan Medicine conducts background screening and pre-employment drug testing on job candidates upon acceptance of a contingent job offer and may use a third party administrator to conduct background screenings.
