• Work as a Registered Nurse, Clinical Care Coordinator in the Melanoma Oncology Clinic.
• Assist in arranging new patient appointments by working with intake coordinators and providers.
• Triage new referrals to ensure they are seeing the correct provider in the appropriate timeframe.
• Work with patients throughout the continuum of their care, from referral to survivorship.
• CCC is integral in clinic flow, patient care needs, triage/assessment of high acuity patients, procedural education, medication management, collaboration with multiple disciplines / infusion / scheduling / lab management.
• Provide some functional supervision of intake coordinators as well as provide necessary medical information to them to schedule patients properly.
• Coordinate and participate in the development and education of patient and nursing educational materials related to Melanoma.
• Participate in tumor board meetings

A current license in the State of Michigan as a Registered Nurse.
Required Educational Requirement; applicant must meet one of the following: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing OR an Associates degree or diploma in Nursing and a Master’s degree in Nursing
Two (2) or more years of recent Hematology/Oncology RN experience, within the last five (5) years
