The Administrative Partners (AP) Team serves as the foundation in supporting all of LSA Advancement. They take a proactive approach to providing skilled administrative support, finding creative solutions to maximize operational efficiency and further LSA Advancement’s mission of championing the liberal arts.

What You'll Do

We have a unique structure for our administrative partner team. When you join Advancement, you'll be part of the AP team to share the workload of support for the entire Advancement office. You'll also be included in the teams you support, joining them on collaborative projects, team meetings, and 1:1s to understand the nature of their work.

You'll provide exceptional administrative support by managing calendars, booking meetings, arranging travel, assisting with staff hiring, mailing, printing, preparing materials, and processing financial transactions.

Part of our job is making sure the office is running smoothly so APs respond to facilities and administrative requests through our ticketing system and can provide onsite facilities support; tasks may include troubleshooting simple technology and facilities questions, putting away deliveries, supplies management, and other administrative tasks.

Additionally, you'll provide team-specific administrative support to one or more of our three areas: Development, Marketing and Communications, and Business Operations.

Every AP has the opportunity to participate and lead projects or cross-collaborative efforts to advance our mission. Projects can come from your manager, the teams you support, or even ones you identify yourself.

Finally APs have a learning orientation. We ask that you continue to develop your skills and strengths, and your understanding of diversity, equity, and inclusion to contribute to and grow a positive culture at LSA Advancement.

You'll report directly to the Administrative Manager with additional direction from the manager(s) of the teams which you support.

The salary range for the intermediate level is:  Low to Mid 40’s

The salary range for the senior level is: Mid 40’s - Low 50’s

Level and salary is commensurate with direct relevant experience and demonstrated past performance results.

Required Qualifications*

  • A high school education or equivalent.
  • Two+ years of experience (intermediate level) OR more than four years’ experience (senior level) in administrative or customer service-oriented roles.
  • Demonstrated editing, proofing, and writing experience.
  • Proficient knowledge of business productivity tools such as Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Drive) and/or Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and working knowledge of video conferencing applications (e.g. Zoom, Google Meet, etc.).
  • Experience working with confidential and sensitive information.
