Job Summary

This position is a temporary appointment responsible for adapting course videos and quizzes into Playposit bulbs for the Department of Physics. This position will be scheduled at approximately 20 hours per week, and the project is anticipated to last for about four months.

Hourly rate: $15

Responsibilities*

Edit new course videos and update current videos. Import edited videos and quizzes from the current course into Playposit bulbs. Coordinate with Physics faculty and staff to track progress and confirm changes. Work closely with instructional staff and faculty to import Playposit bulbs into the Canvas course.

Required Qualifications*

  • Experience with video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro

  • Familiarity with Canvas and how it as used at the University of Michigan

  • Excellent oral/written communication skills, attention to detail, strong interpersonal and organizational skills

Desired Qualifications*

  • Experience with Playposit

  • Experience creating Canvas assignments, quizzes, and pages

  • Knowledge of experience in the Physical Sciences or Life Sciences
