Provide general administrative support to the Leadership Gifts (including 2 Assistant Vice Presidents) and International Giving and Engagement teams. This will include booking travel, calendaring/scheduling meetings, and covering phones. Act as a liaison between teams, U-M community, and external partners and donors. Maintain donor information and track interactions in the donor database. Run reports using various programs. Track expenses and create expense reports. Provide general project support. Assist in travel preparation (research, briefings, itineraries etc.). General office duties, such as copying, printing, setting up for meetings, ordering supplies etc. Provide back-up assistance to the Executive Assistant as needed. Other duties as required or assigned.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. Basic knowledge of Google Suite, and most Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.). Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, with an excellent attention to detail. Good time management skills. Ability to handle multiple assignments and deadlines, and prioritize as necessary. Ability to communicate clearly and concisely both orally and in writing. Discretion with a variety of confidential material and personal information is required.
Start date: 11/01/2021. The position is expected to last approximately 3 months or until filled with a regular hire.
