The University of Michigan, Matthaei Botanical Gardens & Nichols Arboretum is looking for one part-time (60%) Facilities Assistant. The Facilities Assistant will report to the Facilities Manager and will help with the development, maintenance and management of our buildings, hardscapes and grounds to support teaching, research, public outreach, and conservation goals. This position is 24 hours per week, Monday through Friday with occasional weekend and evening responsibilities.

Experience in any of the following industries: construction, building services, transportation and infrastructure, environmental health and safety, horticulture, landscaping, grounds maintenance, or public gardens.
A valid Driver's License and ability to pass a motor vehicle record (MVR) check is required
