Summary
The Nano-Omic-Bio-Engineering-Lab (NOBEL) are a team of creative scientists and engineers who are interested in pursuing fundamentally innovative ideas in skeletal muscle, with a focus on muscle stem cells. We are currently recruiting highly talented and ambitious postdoctoral fellows to join our laboratory. Two of the main focuses in our laboratory are to evaluate how trauma and aging impact the regenerative capacity of muscle stem cells. We use different types of assays to decipher these functions and the fellow will work in a thriving research environment on clinically relevant topics in collaboration with investigators from the U of M’s College of Engineering and Medical School and collaborators at other universities across the country.
