Summary
An exciting MALDI mass spectometry job opportunity has opened in the Wahl laboratory at the University of Michigan. We are a translational brain cancer research laboratory comprised of postdoctoral fellows, graduate students, research faculty and medical/undergraduate students. We develop new treatments in the research lab and bring these ideas to patients through clinical trials in collaboration with neuro-oncologists. We also study the biology of brain tumors in human patients through collaborations with our neurosurgery colleagues. We are developing a MALDI/spatial metabolomics platform and are seeking a motivated and hard-working scientist with excellent communication skills to work with laboratory team members to install and run our new spatial mass spectrometer.
