Summary

Assist Dr. Khalil Khanafer with his project Process Parameters Optimization in 3D Printing of Metallic Parts

Graduate rate: $35.91/hr
Undergraduate Rate: $15/hr

Responsibilities*

  • Assist in creating / running the additive manufacturing model using Ansys software
  • Plot the results such as deformation and stresses for various input parameters
  • Assist with writing progress / final reports

Required Qualifications*

  • Must be enrolled in an undergraduate engineering program or higher (MS)
  • Must have knowledge in using CAD software such as Solidworks
  • Must have completed a Heat Transfer course or is taking the course during Fall 2023

Desired Qualifications*

Knowledge in using ANSYS software is preferable
