Responsibilities*
Duties include attending training, monitoring student activity during exams, checking student IDs, passing out and collecting exams, communicating with faculty via email, phone, or in person, and enforcing start and stop times and other rules during the exam. Proctors sign up for exams as they become available. Full training and building tour provided.

Purpose
The purpose of this position is to ensure exams are conducted in an orderly fashion and to ensure the academic integrity of exam results.
Required Qualifications*
- Demonstrate a high level of responsibility, attention to detail, and ability to keep information confidential.
- Be able to understand and communicate rules for each exam (training provided) and be able to enforce rules fairly.
- Demonstrate comfort in managing both large and small groups of students.
- Enjoy working with undergraduate and graduate students.
- Communicate professionally and effectively via email in a timely manner.
- Sign up to proctor exams regularly during the exam season. Each exam is normally in the range of 2-4 hours long. The majority of exams are held in October, December, February, and April.
Physical Demands/Work Environment
- The person in this position regularly moves through the facility.
- The person in this position routinely moves class materials weighing up to 20 pounds to class locations or other venues for exams.
- The person regularly moves around the classroom during exam administration.
Desired Qualifications*
Relevant experience and Bachelor's degree preferred.
