Summary

The Adult Cystic Fibrosis Program in the Division of Pulmonary Medicine is hiring a student Research Assistant.  Responsibilities include but are not limited to locating data within medical records, contacting outside institutions to obtain specific medical records, data entry, administering surveys and scheduling assistance.  The employee will have direct patient contact in-person and over the phone.  We have a wonderful multidisciplinary team and have additional educational/scholarly opportunities within our team if the candidate is interested.

Required Qualifications*

The job days/hours are flexible, however, having presence in clinic on Thursdays is required for candidate to be available.  The candidate must be well organized, able to use Microsoft office, and self-driven.   

Desired Qualifications*

The candidate will be utilizing Epic electronic medical system and prior experience is a plus, but not required. 

Background Screening

Michigan Medicine conducts background screening and pre-employment drug testing on job candidates upon acceptance of a contingent job offer and may use a third party administrator to conduct background screenings.  Background screenings are performed in compliance with the Fair Credit Report Act. Pre-employment drug testing applies to all selected candidates, including new or additional faculty and staff appointments, as well as transfers from other U-M campuses.
