Responsibilities*

A research assistant position is available immediately in the Green Lab at Department of Radiation Oncology, University of Michigan. The lab?s major focus is on understanding the metabolic determinants of inflammation which shape anti-tumoral immunity and influence cancer therapy efficacy. Ongoing projects in the lab engage the use of molecular biology and genetic approaches, cell culture techniques, mouse modeling, and analysis of patient samples to understand the interactions between metabolism, cancer cells, and the tumor microenvironment. Therefore, energetic applicants with a background in molecular and cellular biology and/or immunology are encouraged to apply.

Required Qualifications*

A Bachelor?s in a biomedical field is required. Prior lab experience is required.

Desired Qualifications*

Experience with conduction of in vivo experiments is desired. We are looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual who can work in a collaborative environment. 

Additional Information

This is an internally funded position, with a one-year term limit, with a possibility for a second year.  This position reports directly to Dr. Michael Green, Assistant Professor.
