Responsibilities*

The successful candidate will have a clinical focus in General Urology. Clinic for this position will be based at the new Ypsilanti Health Center with additional time spent at Northville Health Center. Operative activities will be performed at University Hospital, Brighton Center for Specialty Care and/or East Ann Arbor Health and Geriatric Center. The candidate will provide outstanding clinical service and teaching through urology clinics and inpatient services and as determined by Department of Urology and General Urology Division strategic planning. We expect two and a half days of clinic and two days of OR per week and 10% dedicated academic time (representing one half day) to perform and publish in the area of your interest. A portion of activities will involve the education of medical students, residents, fellows, and other allied health personnel within Urology and other departments. The successful candidate will be expected to participate in weekly Urology Grand Rounds.

Required Qualifications*

The selected candidate must have an MD or DO degree and be either board-certified or board-eligible. Successful applicants will have completed urology residency. The candidate must hold or have the ability to obtain the appropriate medical licenses in the state of Michigan. Evidence of clinical competence is expected. Evidence of scholarly activity (publications in peer-reviewed journals, presentations at national meetings) is also expected.
