Job Summary
The postdoctoral fellow will have the opportunity to work at the intersection of innate immunity and cardiovascular disease. Duties will include organizing and implementing complex research plans, involving the following in vivo and in vitro methodologies: qRT-PCR, ELISA, western blotting, ChIP, magnetic and flow cytometric cell sorting, tissue culture, siRNA transfection, microsurgical murine models and mentoring undergraduate students. The postdoctoral fellow will be responsible for analysis, interpretation and publication of the work.

Required Qualifications*
- The candidate will be expected to possess superior communication skills and present their research findings on a regular basis to both peers within the center and at national meetings.
- Candidate should be a PhD or an MD with research experience.
Desired Qualifications*
Previous training in mechanistic studies of vascular inflammation and cardiovascular disease, remodeling, injury and regeneration is preferred.
