Responsibilities*
- Conduct experimental laboratory research and technical support for a research laboratory.
- Responsible for contributing to studies utilizing technical skills in aseptic techniques for tissue culture, maintaining cell culture equipment, and carrying out cell culture experiments.
- Molecular biology skill on PCR and qPCR for animal genotyping. Mouse handling, behavioral tests, anesthesia, and dissection procedures.
- Physiological assessments in mice such as measuring sciatic nerve conduction velocity, performing rodent euthanasia, and conducting tissue fixation, sectioning, and immunostaining procedures.
- Evaluate experimental procedures and assist in validating experimental test data, analyze and prepare data for presentation, and present findings at laboratory meetings.
Required Qualifications*
- Technical AA degree or equivalent with a background in laboratory sciences.
- Experience with PC software, including GraphPad Prism, Image J, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel.
- Possess strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail and ability to follow protocols precisely.
- Exhibit excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently.
- Maintains extensive and accurate records.

- Handling small animals, rodent anesthesia and dissection; mice colony administration, and genotyping
