Responsibilities*

The role of the Maize Team LPN will include, but not limited to, working with a multidisciplinary clinical and administrative team to support lab tracking, injections, procedures, patient care, form completion, clinic and infusion preparation, and delegated patient calls. Must be able to interpret diagnostic test instructions, assist with procedures, and obtain diagnostic results from our clinical information system. Manage prescription renewals and authorizations with delegation protocols.

Required Qualifications*

  • Graduation from an accredited School of Practical Nursing
  • Current LPN licensure to practice nursing in Michigan.
  • Three (3) years or more of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a clinic/ambulatory care setting

Desired Qualifications*

  • Experience in an ambulatory care clinic setting
  • Experience with an electronic medical record
  • Proficiency with computer skills, to include keyboarding
  • Experience in working with a heme/onc patient population

Work Schedule

Hours/Week: 20 hours per week
Shift/Hours/Days: Day shift, Monday thru Friday  evenings and rotating Saturdays may be required if future clinic realignments occur.
Location: Rogel Cancer Center, Maize Team, Ann Arbor campus
