Job Summary
As the Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will be responsible for the Office of University Development and School, College, Campus, Unit recruitment and talent sourcing efforts. This includes utilizing your expertise in talent acquisition to manage the applicant sourcing recruitment process for open positions for our Office of University Development and School, College, Campus, and Unit partners with an emphasis on building a diverse talent pipeline. You will also support People & Culture (P&C) and Talent Acquisition projects and programs as needed.
Responsibilities*
Talent Acquisition and Talent Sourcing (85%)
- Assist in the design and placement of inclusive job advertisements, utilizing DataPeople.
- Conduct proactive sourcing for searches through social networking using Linkedin, Indeed, etc., industry connections, referrals, and resume databases.
- Perform Boolean keyword searches to identify potential talent.
- Foster external community relationships to help grow a diverse talent pipeline.
- Network both internally and externally to identify potential candidates and build talent pipelines.
- Stay informed of talent acquisition industry trends to continue to elevate Development Community hiring practices.
- Update candidate records in recruiting databases.
- Support Talent Acquisition Partners as needed. This includes but is not limited to:
- Provide proactive candidate sourcing support to Talent Acquisition colleagues in order to grow the talent pipeline for the various OUD departments.
- Conducting resume pre-screening and informational interviews
- Building evaluation criteria and forms
- Post positions and process offers in the university?s applicant tracking system.
Talent Acquisition Metrics & Talent Analytics (15%):
- Collaborate on the maintenance and distribution of TA reports including but not limited to the Recruitment Summary Report and P&C Annual Reports.
- Represent People & Culture in University-wide data user groups and support other talent analytics efforts as needed
Required Qualifications*
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 1+ years of experience in Human Resources or other related fields (customer service, sales, etc.)
- Project management skills including the ability to set priorities; display excellent judgment, while operating in a flexible and professional manner.
- Experienced PC user including Windows based software, Word and Excel , as well as Google Mail, Google Calendar and Google Drive.
- Attention to detail
- Excellent customer service skills
- Effectively communicate and work with all levels of stakeholders, while operating in a fast-paced customer service driven environment.
- Maintain the confidentiality of material that is sensitive in nature.
