Job Summary
Enthusiastic individual needed to work with an interdisciplinary team on a project looking at sexual and gender-based harassment experiences among University employees. The research associate will collaborate with the faculty on data collection, data management and coding, writing literature reviews, analyzing qualitative and quantitative data, writing manuscripts for publication, research presentations, website design, and other tasks as assigned.
Responsibilities*
As a Research Assistant II, responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Performing routine research tasks, including qualitative data coding and analysis; participation in research team meetings; event planning; assisting in dissemination of research results to stakeholders and the community, including via the internet and social media; conducting scholarly research and writing literature reviews; reviewing and analyzing data; and more.
Required Qualifications*
- Graduated or enrolled in a Bachelors or Masters program in sociology, social work, gender and/or feminist theory or related field, as well as significant methodological training and excellent research and writing skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and with a team.
