Job Summary

The name of the project: NIH R15:Understanding cell chirality and cell-cell interactions at neurovascular unit after brain injury 

The research assistant will conduct all aspects related to research projects, including but not limited to animal husbandry care, animal heath check during weekends and holiday breaks, performing cell isolation, tissue preparation, cryostat sectioning, qPCR, immunohistochemistry, image acquisition, maintaining animal colonies, data acquisition/analysis, abstract/manuscript preparation, and presentations at national/international conferences.

Required Qualifications*

Has animal care and use training, ability to work independently and collaboratively
