Responsibilities*

Conducting laboratory research focused on neuronal differentiation of dental pulp stern cells (DPSCs), including cell culture, differentiation protocols and immunocytochemistry analysis.  Data analysis, figure preparation and manuscript writing related to DPSC neuronal differentiation studies.  Laboratory management including supply ordering, equipment maintenance and protocol optimization.  Assisting in training and supervising graduate and undergraduate students in stem cell culture and differentiation techniques.  Participation in lab meetings, journal clubs and professional development seminars.

Required Qualifications*

5 or more years of previous research experience with a Master's or PH D degree.   Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, excellent attendance record.

Additional Information

This is a one-year term limited appointment, with the possibility of renewal or promotion based on performance.
