Job Summary
The University of Michigan Department of Internal Medicine is seeking candidates for a faculty position in the Division of Geriatric and Palliative Medicine. The successful candidate will be expected to participate in patient care and teaching in inpatient and outpatient settings and have some clinical research responsibilities.
Required Qualifications*
The ideal candidate will have an M.D. degree, postgraduate clinical training, and experience in geriatrics, hospice and palliative medicine. They should hold or have the ability to obtain the appropriate medical licenses in the State of Michigan. Candidates should be able to collaborate effectively with other clinicians. Good oral and written communication skills are essential. Evidence of clinical competence and experience teaching in a clinical and didactic setting is expected.
