Job Summary
Michigan Medicine's Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences is seeking outstanding clinician candidates with fellowship training in cornea. The candidate will be expected to participate in research and graduate education as well as in departmental efforts in education in ophthalmology and visual sciences.
Required Qualifications*
We welcome applicants to apply who are Board-eligible or certified in ophthalmology and have completed a cornea fellowship. Successful candidates will have an MD PhD degree, or equivalent, in areas as described above. Documentation of scholarly ability and achievement (record of publications in peer-reviewed journals; record of acquisition of external funding for research programs, detailed research plan, collaborative research experience) is expected. Preferred candidates will have a demonstrated interest in graduate and post-doctoral education and possess critical teaching skills.

Background Screening
Michigan Medicine conducts background screening and pre-employment drug testing on job candidates upon acceptance of a contingent job offer and may use a third party administrator to conduct background screenings.
