We are looking for a Laboratory and Classroom Services Coordinator for our analytical, biochemistry, and Honors teaching laboratories. This position is onsite in Ann Arbor, MI, with typical hours, including Monday-Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, to support our classroom operations.

Responsibilities*
- Reporting to the Laboratory & Classroom Services Manager, you will oversee the routine operation of our analytical, biochemistry, and honors teaching laboratories.
- Ensure that all instruments and equipment are in working condition, including any routine maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Coordinate with others in the department to ensure that all supplies, chemicals, and other course needs are stocked.
- Prepare all "unknown" samples for assigned courses.
- Work with the department's Safety officer and Waste Coordinator to provide a safe and effective learning environment.
Required Qualifications*
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related science with 2+ years in research or teaching laboratory setting.
- Experience with the methods, materials, and equipment used in Analytical, Organic, and Biochemical laboratory activities.
- Experience with Analytical Instrumentation (i.e., GC, HPLC, UV/Vis, Etc.)
- Experience working with individuals from a wide range of backgrounds, including students, faculty, and staff, by providing a high level of customer service.
- Experience coordinating efforts and working with members of a team.
