The Department of Pediatrics, Division of Pediatric Cardiology at the University of Michigan is seeking a board-eligible/certified physician in Pediatrics/Pediatric Cardiology to join the University of Michigan Congenital Heart Center.  We are recruiting a full-time Clinical Assistant or Associate Professor (title will be based on qualifications) in the Division of Pediatric Cardiology to provide outreach general pediatric cardiology care at our University of Michigan Health - West (U-M Health West) specialty clinic location in Grand Rapids, Michigan.  Additional duties may include general pediatric cardiology inpatient service and consultations, teaching medical students and house officers, quality improvement activities, and research. The primary work site for this position is at the Beltline Health Center in Grand Rapids, Michigan. This location is an integral part of our expanding statewide outreach network. This position will provide an opportunity to serve as a leader in further developing and growing the outreach clinic and building strong professional relationships within the community. 

The candidate must have an MD, DO, MBBS degree or equivalent. They should have completed postgraduate clinical training leading to board eligibility/certification in Pediatrics and Pediatric Cardiology and have previous clinical experience in general pediatric cardiology, including transthoracic and fetal echocardiography. Successful candidates will hold or have the ability to obtain the appropriate medical licenses in the State of Michigan. The candidate must also have the necessary clinical skills and knowledge base needed to work independently.

Mott Children's Hospital is one of the largest and most experienced pediatric heart programs in the United States. Background Screening
