The University of Michigan School of Medicine, Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences, seeks outstanding candidates for a research faculty position with a focus in ophthalmic epidemiology. This is an outstanding opportunity, including the protentional for a named Professorship for appropriate candidates. 

The position is for the research track and is full time. Academic rank and salary are commensurate with experience and academic credentials. Required Qualifications*

PhD Degree or higher is required.

This position is posted as Research Associate Professor, with underfill for Research Assistant Professor. The rank of the selected candidate will depend upon candidate's qualifications.

Background Screening

Michigan Medicine conducts background screening and pre-employment drug testing on job candidates upon acceptance of a contingent job offer and may use a third party administrator to conduct background screenings.  Background screenings are performed in compliance with the Fair Credit Report Act.
