Responsibilities*
Research:
- Oversee the acquisition of CT scans for use in research and clinical intervention programs
- Analyze and optimize processes for multiple research projects
- Analyze CT data for multiple morphomic projects and aid in publication development
- Test research methods and suggest options for improving quality
- Identify problems, collaborate on solutions, and support development of new techniques
- Process, enter, extract, and manage data in the ICAM/Morphomics databases
- Perform chart review and extract relevant data to REDCap
Grant support:
- Facilitate grant applications with numerous PIs undertaking morphomics projects
- Support management of IRB applications
Lab and faculty support:
- Scheduling/time management
- Finance tracking
- Lead morphomics core service
- Support faculty research efforts
Required Qualifications*
- Bachelors degree and 5+ years of experience in computer-based modeling or CT experience
- Understanding of human anatomy and CT imaging
- MATLab and MiChart expertise
- Experience with multiple database platforms (PostGRES, REDCap, etc.)
- Experience working with clinicians and clinical data
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently with minimal supervision
- Experience with UM research and administrative systems
Modes of Work

Background Screening
Michigan Medicine conducts background screening and pre-employment drug testing on job candidates upon acceptance of a contingent job offer and may use a third party administrator to conduct background screenings. Background screenings are performed in compliance with the Fair Credit Report Act. Pre-employment drug testing applies to all selected candidates, including new or additional faculty and staff appointments, as well as transfers from other U-M campuses.
