Responsibilities*

Research:

  • Oversee the acquisition of CT scans for use in research and clinical intervention programs
  • Analyze and optimize processes for multiple research projects
  • Analyze CT data for multiple morphomic projects and aid in publication development
  • Test research methods and suggest options for improving quality
  • Identify problems, collaborate on solutions, and support development of new techniques
  • Process, enter, extract, and manage data in the ICAM/Morphomics databases
  • Perform chart review and extract relevant data to REDCap

Grant support:

  • Facilitate grant applications with numerous PIs undertaking morphomics projects
  • Support management of IRB applications

Lab and faculty support:

  • Scheduling/time management 
  • Finance tracking
  • Lead morphomics core service
  • Support faculty research efforts

Required Qualifications*

  • Bachelors degree and 5+ years of experience in computer-based modeling or CT experience
  • Understanding of human anatomy and CT imaging
  • MATLab and MiChart expertise
  • Experience with multiple database platforms (PostGRES, REDCap, etc.)
  • Experience working with clinicians and clinical data
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently with minimal supervision
  • Experience with UM research and administrative systems

Modes of Work

Background Screening

Michigan Medicine conducts background screening and pre-employment drug testing on job candidates upon acceptance of a contingent job offer and may use a third party administrator to conduct background screenings.  Background screenings are performed in compliance with the Fair Credit Report Act. Pre-employment drug testing applies to all selected candidates, including new or additional faculty and staff appointments, as well as transfers from other U-M campuses.
