Job Summary
The College of Arts, Sciences, and Letters (CASL) Dean's Office is looking for a creative, motivated intern to elevate our digital presence through engaging photo and video storytelling for the fall 2025 semester. This position will be up to 10 hours per week for the fall 2025 semester. Responsibilities*
- Capture and create content at CASL events, in courses, and around campus
- Film, edit, and produce short videos and reels for platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube
- Write captions and help plan content calendars
- Assist with student spotlights, program features, and evergreen digital campaigns
- Collaborate with the CASL Digital Marketing & Content Specialist (April Marvin) and meet weekly
Required Qualifications*
- A UM-Dearborn student enrolled in fall 2025 majoring in Communication, Journalism and Media Production, or Marketing (and/or Digital Photography and Design Certificate, Public Relations Minor or Certificate, Media Production Certificate.)
- Passionate about visual storytelling and social media trends
- Skilled in photo/video editing, writing for digital platforms, and operating cameras
Desired Qualifications*
Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or media production tools
