Job Summary
The Department of Language, Culture, and the Arts is seeking an undergraduate student assistant for the JuMP program for the Fall 2025 term. The selected applicant will assist Journalism and Media Production (JuMP) and Campus Media Productions (CMS) staff.
Responsibilities*
- Assist JuMP/CMS staff with check-in and check-out of JuMP student video/audio equipment and inventory.
- Monitor and assist students using JuMP multimedia editing software.
- Assist faculty and staff with equipment setup as needed during class sessions.
- Provide video production assistance as needed for events contracted for CMS, including setup, teardown and camera operation.
Required Qualifications*
Be a current undergraduate at U-M Dearborn.
Desired Qualifications*
- JuMP curriculum background desired but not required.
- Confirmed federal work study status for the Fall 2025 semester.
