Job Summary
- Working with the Faculty Director, Managing Director, Program Manager, and a team of student interns, this role will contribute to the creation and execution of a suite of student programs established to grow tech literacy, competency, and mastery across campus. Business+Tech draws in students from all schools/colleges and has deep relationships with student organizations outside of the Ross School of Business. The demographics of program participants is because of our inclusive and thoughtful approach to designing and implementing programs that resonate with everyone regardless of major, academic year, tech knowledge, and tech skill level.
- The Program Coordinator will contribute to a positive and inclusive work community by building trusting partnerships across the university, continually learning, creating impactful experiences, and working with a sense of ownership for outcomes. - We curate action-based learning opportunities to advance tech literacy and competency.
- We execute technology-driven competitions for students to apply tech in partnership with leading tech and consulting companies like PwC and Deloitte.
- We generate and disseminate innovative content to expand tech literacy and demystify tech through white papers, videos, podcast episodes, and short-form articles.
Responsibilities*
Program Management & Execution (60%)
- Lead the planning and delivery of core Business+Tech programs including the +Tech Innovation Jam, +Tech Forums, Data Download series, and Datathon Competition.
- Coordinate logistics with speakers, facilitators, and student organizations.
- Manage registration and application processes; handle program-related inquiries.
- Collect and organize data for program assessment and recommend improvements.
- Maintain documentation of program processes and support new initiatives or pilot projects.
Engagement & Communications (40%)
- Promote Business+Tech through campus presentations and outreach events.
- Develop and manage marketing campaigns and recruitment materials for events and competitions.
- Maintain the Business+Tech CRM system, ensuring accurate engagement tracking.
- Lead the creation of post-program reports for sponsors and stakeholders.
- Assist in sourcing speakers and coordinating the annual Giving Blueday campaign.

Required Qualifications*
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

- Ability to utilize data to make informed decisions
- Experience in event planning or project management
- Exemplary verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Google Suite and Google Calendar
Work Locations
- Requires the ability to travel to various locations on campus to conduct work and deliver materials
- The person in this position routinely communicates with students programs, events, activities, etc.
- The person in this position routinely presents information at events
- The person in this position occasionally moves through the facility to attend meetings/events and access files or information
- May require work during nights and/or weekends
Modes of Work
Positions that are eligible for hybrid or mobile/remote work mode are at the discretion of the hiring department. Work agreements are reviewed annually at a minimum and are subject to change at any time, and for any reason, throughout the course of employment. Learn more about the work modes.
Additional Information
The following physical requirements may be required: remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time, transport program materials that may weigh up to twenty-five (25) pounds, etc.
