Job Summary
Seeking an energetic UM-Dearborn student to assist with daily office operations. A successful applicant will have the opportunity (and is expected) to learn processes and policies of financial aid and the Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships as a foundational element of their professional development. The work-study position is an outstanding opportunity for any student interested in gaining skills and enhancing their marketability for future employment opportunities.

Responsibilities*
- Provide excellent customer service
- Assist students and families with document submission
- File, image, and review financial aid documents
- Data entry and look-up
- Make outbound communication to prospective and current students
- Assist with recruitment and enrollment events
- Participate in projects as assigned
Required Qualifications*
- Must be currently enrolled as a degree-seeking student at UM-Dearborn with a UM-Dearborn GPA of 2.0 at time of application and throughout employment
- Customer service experience
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Good organizational skills, initiative, and attention to detail
- Must be able to maintain confidentiality of protected information
- Problem-solving abilities
- Sensitivity to diversity in all forms
- Strong technology skills- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and UM-Dearborn student self-service
- Reliable transportation to campus
- Work Study students preferred
