Job Summary
The Entrepreneurial Practice Programs Manager at the Center for Entrepreneurship (CFE) is pivotal in shaping, developing, and executing the CFE's Entrepreneurial Practice Programs (EPP). Responsibilities encompass strategic planning, program development, and operational execution alongside the Director of Entrepreneurial Practice. This involves managing programs, facilitating recruitment events, organizing EPP community events, spearheading marketing efforts in partnership with the CFE's marketing and communications team, conducting outreach activities, initiating and overseeing the launch of new programs, and overseeing data management for EPP. Additionally, the Entrepreneurial Practice Programs Manager collaborates closely with the Director of Entrepreneurial Practice to manage program budgets and ensure alignment with program objectives.

Responsibilities*
Program Development and Support
- Support the Entrepreneurial Practice Programs' strategic planning, program planning, and program execution processes, ensuring the execution of target objectives and performance metrics for continuous improvement.
- Support the development and execution of Entrepreneurial Practice Programs' components in collaboration with CFE Faculty and under the guidance of the Director of Entrepreneurial Practice.
- Serve as a point of contact for program participants and manage the operational aspects of the recruitment process.
- In partnership with the appropriate CFE teams and/or U-M offices, develop and update policies for student experiences and associated support within the Entrepreneurial Practice programs.
- Develop frameworks for program evaluation and longitudinal impact reviews.
Event Planning and Logistics Management
- Oversee logistics planning and execution for Entrepreneurial Practice Programs, including communication with students and teams, deadline enforcement, and presentation template creation.
- Plan and execute multiple events and activities supporting the programs, including immersion treks and workshops.
- Coordinate event logistics such as venue selection, vendor contracts, budget management, catering, transportation, and payment processes in collaboration with the CFE team and following UM policies.
Outreach, Marketing, and Stakeholder Engagement
- Develop outreach and marketing materials for diverse audiences involved in entrepreneurial practice programs in partnership with the CFE's marketing and communications team.
- Liaise with other entrepreneurial and innovation units to facilitate collaborations within U-M's Entrepreneurship and Innovation community.
- Lead the continuous development of student and alumni communities within the Entrepreneurial Practice Programs.
- Solicit and respond to feedback regarding program initiatives and activities.
Data Management and Reporting
- Maintain Entrepreneurial Practice Programs data in the CFE's Customer Relationship Management tool.
- Track and organize students and student teams from application through participation and follow-up phases.
- Collect, manage, and analyze surveys, feedback, and progress data, then synthesize the findings into comprehensive reports for meaningful presentation.
Required Qualifications*
- Master's degree in a relevant field with a minimum of five years of demonstrated experience in program management and event planning.
- Exceptional customer service, interpersonal skills, a positive outlook, adaptability, and flexibility.
- Proven experience in public speaking and leading large groups effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to engage with diverse constituencies, develop meaningful relationships, and interact effectively across various demographics.
- Proven track record in organizing substantial volumes of information into coherent content and layouts, showcasing solid organizational skills.
- Proficiency in working within shared, open office environments and remote settings, with the ability to collaborate and communicate effectively in diverse workspaces.
Desired Qualifications*
- Ph.D. degree in a relevant field.
- Previous experience in a university setting or within an entrepreneurial environment.
- Demonstrated experience collaborating with early-stage technology companies.
- Knowledge of education-related longitudinal research methods.
- Proficiency with Google Workspace tools.
- Familiarity with the policies, procedures, and systems of the College of Engineering and/or the University of Michigan.

Additional Information
This position requires travel to multiple locations across the U.S. to attend events, meetings, and conferences throughout the year. This position also requires working during non-business hours and weekends to attend occasional events.
