Job Summary
Your primary responsibility will be for the management, coordination and execution of a variety of projects, and events that achieve our planned giving goals for the university and its units, including management of the planned giving marketing program. You will be a partner with and a resource to all areas of the Office of Planned Giving, school, campus, college and unit (SCCU) colleagues, and external vendors to manage the design and implementation of planned giving projects, with the goal of increasing donor engagement and maximizing private support.
You will work in an environment dedicated to advancing the mission of OUD and of the university, and in building positive and meaningful relationships with co-workers and donors.

Responsibilities*
Event Management (45%) Includes partnering with our planned giving officers, coordinate with schools, colleges, campuses, and units (SCCU) gift officers and colleagues across OUD teams to foster collaboration and facilitate successful completion of our Planned Giving (PG) team projects and events, Some examples include: Coordination of the John Monteith Legacy Society (JMLS) recognition event and Estate Planning Workshop events.
Stewardship Liaison (10%) Includes serving as the PG liaison to the OUD Stewardship Office, being their main contact, and coordinating stewardship efforts to ensure best practices, consistent donor communications, and recognition plans.
Planned Giving Marketing Management (30%) Be the primary contact for the Office of Planned Giving with the University's marketing vendor and the OUD Marketing and Communications team; manage our Planned Giving marketing program through collaboration with all partners to see end-to-end completion of a variety of tasks that support marketing and donor engagement efforts.
Collaboration and Administration (15%) Includes collaborating with our Planned Gift Services team on life income gift processing, annual and semi-annual donor report distribution, and other special projects during peak volume times.

Required Qualifications*
- 6+ years experience in a professional setting or bachelor's degree and 2+ years experience in a professional setting
- Skills in grammar, experience in professional writing; ability to write compellingly to express gratitude
- Discretion in interactions with donors and the ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
