Job Summary
You will provide administrative support to faculty and staff at the Data Science for Dynamic Intervention Decision-Making Center (d3c) based in the Survey Research Center at the Institute for Social Research. The d3c is an interdisciplinary collective of data scientists revolutionizing the design and delivery of interventions in healthcare and education. d3c strives to cultivate a bottom-up, interactive, team-oriented workplace that values how people work together in the service of developing and disseminating novel data science tools that matter. The Administrative Assistant will provide vital administrative and project support to faculty and staff within this dynamic environment. This position plays a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of departmental functions, delivering exceptional customer service, and fostering strong internal and external relationships.
Responsibilities*
- Manage complex calendars and schedules for center leadership
- Coordinate domestic and international travel arrangements; prepare and process travel and hosting requests
- Submit accurate reimbursements and expense reports in compliance with university policies
- Process reimbursements for faculty and staff
- Reconcile PCard transactions in line with university policies and procedures
- Coordinate logistics for center events including conferences and meetings
Required Qualifications*
- Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail and critical thinking.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with discretion and adaptability
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Zoom, and other relevant platforms
Modes of Work
