Job Summary

The Division of Metabolism, Endocrinology and Diabetes has an opening position of Research Investigator for candidates with M.D. and/or Ph.D. degree.

Responsibilities*

The investigator will be expected to participate in preparation of manuscripts, presentation of work at national/international meetings, and grant submissions. She/he should therefore have an outstanding track record of productivity and a level of motivation required for successful independent biomedical research. 

Required Qualifications*

M.D. or Ph.D. required. Candidates should have strong self motivation, solid basic science training background, experience with hypothesis-driven research, good written and oral scientific communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and in a multidisciplinary team-oriented environment. Record of peer-reviewed publications in relevant scientific journals. Knowledge of adrenal gland biology, adrenal pathology, steroidogenesis, and cell differentiation/proliferation would be highly desirable.
