Course Description: Grant Writing and Fundraising Basics--- In this course, students will learn the basics of grant writing and related fundraising practices, including how to argue for the importance of one's work, how to create budgets, and how to customize your proposals to fit the criteria of a granting agency.
Responsibilities*
Job Description: teach credit bearing courses as part of the School of Music, Theatre & Dance arts leadership curriculum (ARTSADMN); deliver exemplary in-class pedagogy; provide mentorship and guidance for enrolled students; provide timely, detailed feedback to students on all coursework and assignments. 12.5% effort, starting 1/1/26, expected offer date of 12/19/25.
Required Qualifications*
Qualifications: graduate degree in arts management or commensurate professional experience; prior demonstrated success as a fundraiser and experience delivering pedagogy on related topics in arts management, entrepreneurship, and/or leadership courses; established profile within the fields of arts fundraising/development.
