Responsibilities*

This is a postdoctoral research position in the laboratory of Dr. Meredith Skiba at the University of Michigan. The successful candidate will conduct basic biochemical research to investigate outstanding molecular level questions in reproductive biology, focusing particularly on the role of G protein-coupled receptors. They will conduct this research under the guidance of Dr. Skiba, which will involve regular meetings to design experiments and discuss the interpretation of results. An important part of their postdoctoral work will be to work with Dr. Skiba to write up their findings and publish in scientific journals. In addition to conducting original research, the candidate will continue to develop their mentoring skills and help to train junior lab members in basic experimental techniques. 

Required Qualifications*

PhD in biochemistry or related field with at least 2-3 years of laboratory research experience.
