Responsibilities*
- Be the primary point of contact for radiologists and residents.
- Answer incoming calls and direct inquiries appropriately.
- Upload external imaging studies into Sectra accurately and efficiently.
- Manage Sectra read lists.
- Monitor the ER and Inpatient lists in Sectra.
- Monitor protocol worklists in MiChart.
- Manage `Results Tracker' list and `All Read' list throughout the day as per daily demand.
- Assign/reassign studies to other divisions as required.
- Assign studies to radiologists if needed.
- Email 3D lab for images when requested by radiologist.
- Page/call/communicate with providers as requested by radiologists.
- Communicate with ER physicians regarding outside imaging requests.
- Utilize paging system to contact appropriate staff as required.
- Signing into Microsoft Teams Page when arriving.
- Updating RRC of the day in Sharepoint.
- Monitoring MRI Clearance Microsoft Teams page.
- Update job board with doctor assignments.
- Monitor fax machine.
- Communicate with PACS Team and User Support as needed to resolve issues and support operations.
- Ensure overnight 1800 preliminary reports are staffed timely.
- Check Qgenda for doctor assignments.
- Assist radiologists with daily work, including research.
- Assist in assigning medical students to a Resident/Fellow.
- Maintain cleanliness to the Reading Room Coordinator area and light cleaning/stocking when necessary.
- Assist in the training of new employees.
- Collecting paperwork from technologists when needed.
- Processing FFR (Heartflow requests) when needed.
- Monitor Teams groups associated with your Reading Room.
- Send paperwork to HIM for scanning when needed.
- Prepare patient files for diabetic PET patients when needed.
- Load images into Citrix and MIM.
Required Qualifications*

- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Two or three years of experience in direct customer service role, involving face-to-face or phone-based patient/customer interaction.
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology.
- Availability to work holidays are required.
Desired Qualifications*
- Knowledge of MiChart is preferred.
- Knowledge of Medicom is preferred.
- Knowledge of Sectra is preferred.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Teams is preferred.
- Previous experience in healthcare or radiology environment.
- Knowledge of health system policies and procedures.
- Basic understanding of radiology workflows, terminology, and imaging systems.
Work Schedule
Monday-Friday 8:00am-6:00pm (40 Hours each week, Day off will vary)
Work Locations
University Hospital, C.S. Mott Children's Hospital, and the Kahn Healthcare Pavilion.
Modes of Work

Union Affiliation
This position is covered under the collective bargaining agreement between the U-M and the Service Employees International Union (SEIU), which contains and settles all matters with respect to wages, benefits, hours, and other terms and conditions of employment.
Background Screening
