Job Summary
Office of Academic Success and the Writing Center seek a data analyst and technical communication consultant.
Data Analysis:
- Extract and organize consultation and usage data from WCONLINE
- Clean and structure the data for analysis (tracking trends over time, service usage patterns, appointment volume, repeat visits, etc.)
- Build and maintain Tableau dashboards for supervisors to monitor KPIs and operational performance (consultant utilization, peak hours, appointment outcomes, demand by course/department, etc.)
- Produce summaries that support staffing decisions and program improvements
Data science/CIS(CECS) oriented academic support
- Data science related communication support
- Assist students with Python or R programming for data analysis
- Guide students in building small machine learning or AI models
- Support students in developing and documenting data-driven applications and communicating technical results clearly in reports or presentations
Modes of Work
