Job Summary
Provide high quality patient care to pediatric patient populations at Northville Health Center. The role requires both direct patient care and telehealth management. We are actively seeking compassionate, enthusiastic, and patient-oriented individuals who are committed to providing the ideal experience for our patients, families, and employees. Candidate will collaborate with multiple stakeholders in the Primary Care Clinic at NHC in the staff RN role to promote health and wellness for patients and families. This is a full time position with partial effort in specialty area coverage based on clinic needs.

Responsibilities*
- Provide coordinated nursing care to adults, pediatric patients, and their families in a variety of Ambulatory Care settings in Primary Care, specialty clinics, and specialty areas such as Infusion and Medical Procedures.
- Areas that the decentralized float nurse will cover: Northville Health Center-Primary Care (Adult & Pediatrics), OB/GYN, Comprehensive Musculoskeletal Center (Orthopedics & PMR), Allergy, Specialty Medicine (Cardiology, Nephrology, Neurology, Gastroenterology, Rheumatology, & Pulmonology), and Adult Hematology/Oncology, Infusion, and Medical Procedures.
- Tele-health management includes triaging calls from patients, families, clinicians, and other healthcare team members.
- Care coordination and patient education for acute and chronic conditions.
- Assist with a variety of procedures in clinic. Maintain patient flow in clinic and support clinical assistive staff as needed.
- Candidates must be able to perform duties independently, be highly motivated, and flexible in order to address the needs of patients, families and members of the health care team.

Salary & Nursing Framework Level:
This UMPNC RN posting is posted as Nursing Framework LEVEL C.
Actual Nursing Framework LEVEL and salary will be determined at time of hire.
Nursing Framework levels range from Level A to Level E.
Required qualifications must be met by the candidate in order to be interviewed and considered for the position. Posting may be filled after the initial 5-day posting period.

Required Qualifications*
- Current licensure to practice nursing in the State of Michigan
- Two (2) or more years of recent (within 3 years) RN experience within an ambulatory clinic care setting
- Two (2) or more years of recent experience with patient/family education (within 3 years)
- Two (2) or more years of experience in tele-health management (within 3 years)

Desired Qualifications*
- Broad range of clinical experience that includes primary care, OB/GYN, and specialty care environments
- Recent RN experience (within the past 4 years) with both adult and pediatric patient populations
- Two (2) or more years of recent (within 5 years) Infusion experience.
- Procedural sedation experience (within 5 years).
- Experience with care coordination and managing complex patient populations.
- BSN
Work Schedule
- Hours: 40 per week
- Days: Day shift; Monday through Friday; days variable. Occasional Saturday and/or holiday coverage may be required; hours vary according to the clinic business needs.
- Location: Northville Health Center.
Note: All new employees will be expected to float to a designated unit(s) in times of low census.
