Job Summary
This position provides in-residence Library support for research and classes conducted under the auspices of the University of Michigan Biological Station (UMBS). Specific duties include:
- reference and instruction during Spring/Summer term, including reference for faculty and grad student researchers;
- collaboration with Station researchers and staff on research data projects of interest;
- other reference/instruction/collection management projects as assigned.
Required Qualifications*
MLS or equivalent degree, or currently enrolled in an accredited degree program
- Outstanding attitude toward public service
Desired Qualifications*
- Experience providing reference services in an academic setting
- A biology degree or significant knowledge of the field
- Knowledge of field biological stations
Work Schedule
Appointment is for 36 to 40 hours per week for 12 weeks, beginning May 14 and running through August 1.

On-site at the UM Biological Station.
