Job Summary
The Department of Pediatrics, Division of Pediatric Cardiology at the University of Michigan is seeking a board eligible/certified physician in Pediatrics/Pediatric Cardiology to join the Michigan Congenital Heart Center. We are recruiting a full-time faculty member of the Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Unit to join our group. Opportunity exists for outpatient clinic if interested.
The University of Michigan Congenital Heart Center is a high volume program that includes over 50 cardiologists (11 who serve clinical time in the dedicated pediatric cardiac ICU), 4 congenital heart surgeons, 18 categorical fellows and an active Advanced Practitioner team. Our culture is one of collaboration, in which teamwork is prioritized. Teaching ability is highly valued at our center. In addition, preference will be given to a candidate who has demonstrated research experience and productivity.
Required Qualifications*
The candidate must have an MD, DO, MBBS degree or equivalent. They should have completed training in Pediatrics and Pediatric Cardiology and have completed advanced training in pediatric cardiac critical care. The candidate must have excellent clinical skills including advanced training in pediatric cardiothoracic intensive care medicine. The candidate will participate in pediatric cardiothoracic intensive care coverage including equitable night/weekend call, pre-surgical work-up service, teaching and research. The candidate must have demonstrated research experience and a strong track record of publications and presentations.

Background Screening
