Job Summary
The Research Assistant II will be responsible for a range of grant implementation and day-to-day operations, reporting, and evaluative processes. This role provides assistance to the project PI and other designated individuals performing grant-related activities. This position will report to the project PI. This position is grant-funded and will end in June 2026.
Responsibilities*
- Recruitment: recruit participants for continuing participation in grant activities, including but not limited to communication about the coming school year
- Recruitment: communicate with schools and districts about research project and the role of participants from their school/district
- Recruitment: assist in finding and recruiting potential testers for fall and spring, assist in organizing testers
- Data cleaning: cleaning and organizing collected data, including but not limited to work with transcripts
- Analysis: participation in analysis of data
Specific duties include:
- Managing data, including cleaning, organizing, and analysis
- Recruitment of participants
- Recruitment of testers and organizing training
Required Qualifications*
- ABD in Education or related field
- Experience working with raw data and transforming it into analysis-ready data (e.g., vide to transcript)
- Experience with the Ongoing Assessment Project (OGAP)
Work Schedule
Two to three days per week determined in consultation with PI.
Modes of Work
Hybrid
The work requirements allow both onsite and offsite work and an employee has an expected recurring onsite presence. On occasion, the employee may be required and must be available to work onsite more frequently if necessitated by unit leadership or their designee and/or the job requirements.
