Position Summary:
We are looking for a Data & CRM Specialist in the Division of Student Life to strengthen measurement, performance insights, and audience experience across our communications and marketing ecosystem. You will build and improve CRM and email measurement in Salesforce Marketing Cloud, and you will guide cross channel measurement across email, web, and paid media. You will help Student Life units translate goals into clear KPIs, actionable reporting, and ongoing performance improvement.
You will partner with Student Life units, Technology Solutions, and communications and marketing colleagues to improve tracking and data quality, including GA4 and GTM implementation, tagging standards, and platform integrations. You will create decision ready dashboards and self service reporting using Looker Studio and Tableau, and you will help establish shared best practices for experimentation, accessibility, deliverability, and audience management.
You will bring marketing measurement expertise, testing and experimentation experience, and data visualization skills, paired with hands-on knowledge of GA4 and GTM and CRM and email platforms. Together, these skills will help our division make data informed decisions and improve the audience experience.

Responsibilities*
Communications & Customer Relationship Management
- Drive CRM and email measurement in Salesforce Marketing Cloud. This delivers audience/segment and journey performance insights, optimization recommendations, and division-wide measurement best practices, including accessibility, deliverability, and list health.
- Partner with Student Life units and Technology Solutions to define audience strategies and success metrics. Coordinate the division email calendar and support high-quality campaign execution, which includes building, testing, and scheduling emails and forms. Run testing and experimentation, including A/B and journey-level tests.
Marketing Reporting & Analytics
- Translate unit goals into measurement plans and decision-ready reporting for Student Life digital marketing. This includes KPI development, cross-channel performance analysis, and prioritized recommendations to improve audiences, creative, channel mix, and conversions.
- Design and maintain the measurement foundation across paid, email, web, and social platforms. Implement and QA track GA4/GTM events and conversions, UTM standards, tagging/data flows, and cross-domain measurement as needed. Build and improve dashboards using Looker Studio and Tableau. Monitor data quality amid platform and privacy changes.
Required Qualifications*
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, statistics, information science, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
- 25 years of professional experience in digital marketing analytics, marketing measurement, CRM/email analytics, or performance marketing.
- Strong familiarity with GA4 and Google Tag Manager, including implementing and QA testing event and conversion tracking and using web analytics to inform recommendations.
- Experience building and maintaining dashboards and reports in Looker Studio (or a comparable BI/data visualization tool).
- Experience with CRM and/or email marketing platforms (e.g., Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Salesforce, Slate, Mailchimp), including a working knowledge of segmentation, lifecycle/journey concepts, and campaign performance measurement.
